New York City Guide 2017

I've outlined places to explore, things to do, where to stay, and where to shop! There are soooo many amazing things to do in the city and each time I go back I find something new, so this blog post will always be continuously evolving :-) Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!!

Places to Explore

  • Brooklyn Bridge

  • Top of The Rock

I suggest visiting the Top of The Rock during the daytime rather than nighttime, the views are just so unbelievably gorgeous during the day.

  • Dumbo

  • Empire State Building

For a nighttime view of New York City, the Empire State Building provides amazing views.

  • Times Square

I wouldn't want to spend every night in Times Square but I think it's for sure something you gotta see on a trip to NYC

  • Central Park and The Met

The Met is a famous art museum that can't be missed if you even enjoy art a little bit. Plus if you are a gossip girl fan, the met steps are probably already on your list!! Central Park is close to the Met and you can easily walk there right after.

    WHERE TO STAY

    →NOMO SOHO

This hotel is super modern and located right in the center of Soho, which is my current favorite area of NYC.

    →THE PLAZA HOTEL

The Plaza Hotel is such an iconic New York City hotel. It's pricey but definitely worth the experience at least once in your life. Plus if you travel to NYC during a less busy time of the year you can get room rates that are half of the price that they would be during peak travel times!

    →HOTEL 48LEX

Located in Midtown, I loved the vibe of this boutique hotel. The breakfast room service is also amazing.

    WHERE TO SHOP

    SOHO

By far one of the best shopping neighborhoods in New York City, SoHo has a unique vibe that no other part of Manhattan can compare to.

    RESALE AND CONSIGNMENT STORES

These are all over and are 100 percent worth your time.

    Union Square/Flatiron District

Make sure to stop by the Shake Shack across the street from the Flatiron Building during your shopping trip here. Seriously, it's in a little park and there are always so many dogs there. Basically, a dream come true.
