I’m Dominique Bagnoche. I’m a college student in the Kelley School of Business studying finance and international studies.
I don’t specifically classify myself as being an extrovert or introvert since there are some days that I am active and social with friends or spending my time traveling; completely content in group social environments. However, I also have a lot of days where there is no place I would rather be other than at home with my dog, (Teddy), watching TV & movies, reading, writing, and staying in my own little bubble.
It’s pretty clear that I am an open book as I have a blog that is titled as my name, sometimes I get very personal with what I am sharing on this blog. I take pride in sharing my real and genuine life experiences with my readers with a couple of goals in mind which are:
- to impact each of my readers in any way I can, everyone is unique, and I know everyone is impacted in different ways
- I strive to make these impressions genuinely help all readers lives, whether it is by sharing how I have made it through some of my tough times (how I am dealing with losing the most significant person in my life)
- simply through helping readers find their individual personal styles
- helping you find the best makeup product to make you feel beautiful
- offering advice regarding traveling and more
Overall, dombagnoche.com is a place to come for encouragement to make the most out of your own life each day.
Life is weird and hard, but I believe it’s up to you to find beauty in the ugliest of days. Embracing the small things the world has to offer can change your life. I believe you have the potential to control your own happiness.
About the blog
I started this blog, Dominique Bagnoche in December of 2016. This blog began as a way I could share my life experiences by revealing my interests, strengths, weaknesses, trials, and tribulations following the loss my best friend and mother.
She gave me the inspiration to begin this blog
And to always do the things I love, regardless of what they are.
She still pushes me today to continue doing things I love each and every day. You can start to learn how my mother further inspired my love for a lot of things in life such as fashion, seeing new places and attempting new things; by reading this post containing the eulogy I read at her funeral.
I’ve always enjoyed creative things, but I will admit it has always been one of my weaknesses trying to find one specific hobby, major, job, etc. that I feel is the right fit for myself. Though, I no longer look at this as a weakness. Since starting this blog, I have been able to use a wide variety of skills I’ve obtained throughout college. As well as implementing social media strategies from experience I’ve gained solely from enjoying social media.
I have no idea what I will be doing in a year from now and where I will be, but I think that is a pretty beautiful thing for this point in my life.
I am grateful that you’ve read this long on my page.
I hope this means that you are going to stay connected with me as I continue my journey in life. Whether you are interested in beauty and fashion topics, college, business, and blogging related topics, or more of the topics you don’t see as frequently such as dealing with loss and all of the unexplained things that come with it; you are at the right place!
