Girls Trip to Miami at The Julia

This past August I went on a girls trip to Miami Beach Florida with three of my blogger friends, Shaunie, Chelsea, and Megan. I flew from Indiana to Miami, Shaunie flew from Brooklyn, and Megan & Chelsea drove from the other side of Florida.

It's always a good time meeting other content creators from places all over and I was so happy to meet Megan and Chelsea in person! I met Shaunie on a Pangea Dreams trip in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in early May of this year.

During our trip to Miami, we stayed at the Julia Hotel. This location was ideal for our girls getaway as it was only one block from the beach and located on a colorful street with beautiful palm trees, perfect for pictures. The Julia Hotel was only 20 minutes away from the airport so getting to the hotel and leaving to go home was so simple compared to most of the trips I've taken.

The hotel is pretty close to Ocean Drive in Miami, which has a lot of places to eat/drink/hang out etc. We had no problem walking there several times, it's a pretty scenic walk :) The Hotel Julia provides beach chairs to guests which are pictured below!

I loved the abstract lantern ceiling lights the rooms have at the Julia. The entire hotel was full of unique pieces of art and plants. You've gotta love an aesthetically pleasing hotel, am I right?

Miami is hands down one of the best places for a girls weekend getaway or short trip. I could not get enough of the amazing food, beaches, and beautiful blue water in Miami Beach. Staying at the Julia Hotel made the trip even better and I will definitely return sometime soon :)
