Dressing up my Nikes
If this isn’t your first time on my blog, or if you follow me on instagram then you most likely have noticed a trend that I have been all about this entire year. Yes, I'm in a pretty serious relationship with sneakers, (I’m only joking a little!) But seriously, there are very few outfits that I wear regularly that can’t be styled with sneakers. Yes, even a sparkly dress.
The shoes I am wearing in this look are the Nike Air Max 270 React sneakers.
I used to think that I looked silly wearing sneakers with a dress. I felt as if I couldn’t pull off something like that, it wasn’t my vibe or I wasn’t edgy enough. HOWEVER, (after some trial and error) I now feel confident rocking a look like this, and I encourage you to try something similar! Don't get me wrong though, I will be definitely be rocking these with a more casual / athleisure look as well, 100% in the near future.
These sneakers are a combination of two of Nike’s most legendary shoe styles, the Air + React. I am always on the go, traveling, etc. which is a huge reason why I am always in sneakers, my feet have to be comfortable! I could walk around for days in these Air Max 270 React sneakers. I also love that they can be worn during any season!!
They come in several different colors, I love so many of the color styles. I decided on the Bauhaus color combination because I really loved the gold-yellow color on the bottom of the shoe and I always love a pop of red.
