The Udaya Resorts and Spa in Ubud, Bali
The Udaya Resort in Ubud Bali is located about ten minutes away from the Ubud center. The resort offers a complimentary shuttle ride, to and from the central area of Ubud which was very convenient, we took advantage of this a lot! We stayed one night in a suite room facing the pool area and the another night in one of the gorgeous Pool villas.
The pool villas and suites have their own private pools however the infinity pool available to all guests is STUNNING (pictured below). There is more than enough pool chairs, longing areas, etc. Every time we were by the pool we were actually the only one’s there :)
FAMOUS FLOATING BREAKFAST
The floating breakfast in Bali is a PRETTY famous instagram photo. I’ve probably seen it 100+ times and thats no joke lol… but really, if you have a floating breakfast how could you NOT take a ton of photos?! The floating breakfast you see in the photos is all food from the Deeva Restaurant. Everything was delicious! The Deeva Restaurant is located on the second floor of the resort. We always ate breakfast and lunch there. Breakfast is complimentary here which is common for resorts in Bali. T
The Spa at the Udaya Resort is one of the most famous spas in Bali. All guests get a complimentary 15-minute neck and head welcome massage at the spa, so there is a reason for everyone to head there at least once! But if you are like me, you will definitely want to head there more than once, this spa is AMAZING. Here you can experience the famous Bali Flower Bath, it’s called the the “Celebration of Flowers” at Kaveri Spa.
It cost’s around $25 USD to experience this celebration of flowers, it is definitely worth the money. I was shocked when I found out it wasn’t more expensive but after traveling around Bali I know now that Spa treatments are very cheap everywhere, even the 5 star resorts!
You can also book a Citrus Bath from the Kaveri Spa right to your hotel room! This citrus bath was all set up and ready for us right in our villa, we did not even have to go to the Spa. I definitely recommend the citrus bath if you are looking for something different then the typical flower bath and refreshing!
There were free bicycles available for use at the resort which is amazing unless it is the rainy reasons when you visit. If we would’ve had more time at the resort, I would’ve loved to try out the yoga and cooking classes!
They told us that during the summer months, almost every room/villa/suite is booked pretty far in advance, so definitely make sure to plan a stay early if you are planning on traveling there during the busy summer months!
